Built around your process.

We start with the processing stage, formulation, capacity, temperatures and interfaces to other equipment. The range includes chocolate ball mills, mixing tanks and mixers, fat melting units, pumps, cooling tunnels and taffy pulling machines for stretching and folding confectionery masses. Dimensions, drives, controls and cleaning arrangements are defined for each application.

Chocolate Ball Mill

Chocolate ball mills designed and manufactured by KEMI for preparing, grinding and mixing chocolate formulations. Mechanical design, drive systems and operator controls are configured around the product and process requirements. We review the required batch capacity, formulation, operating temperature and grinding requirements, then define the drive, thermal arrangements, feeding, discharge and connections to pumps and the rest of the production line. Detailed specifications are agreed in the technical proposal for each project.

Chocolate pumps

KEMI-manufactured pumps for transferring chocolate and viscous materials between production stages. The pump core and internal product-contact parts are entirely stainless steel, with a double jacket. Product type, viscosity, operating temperature, required flow, pressure and connections are reviewed to define the configuration and integration with tanks and production lines.

Double-Jacketed Tri-Lobe Pumps

Tri-lobe pumps designed and manufactured by KEMI, with all-stainless-steel pump construction and a double jacket. Offered as part of our chocolate and viscous-material transfer solutions, with pump configuration, drive and connections selected around the product, viscosity, required flow, operating pressure and temperature. Stainless steel grade, inlet and outlet sizes and jacket medium are defined in the technical proposal to suit the project.

Taffy Pulling Machine

A taffy pulling machine for repeatedly stretching and folding a confectionery mass during preparation, using moving arms to work and pull the batch. The photograph shows two KEMI machines with operator controls. Formulation, mass temperature, batch weight, required pulling cycle and loading and unloading arrangements guide working-area dimensions, motion speed, operating configuration and cleaning access for the product and production sequence.
